Scott Retberg is the designer and a co-author of The Unknown. He also guides the Authors site at the (Miningco), an online resource on authors, books, and writing, and is completing his Ph.D. in English from the University of Cincinnati, where he holds a Taft Fellowship.

He is an Editor of No Time, a Chicago Arts and Entertainment magazine. He lives in Chicago and is working on his dissertation, a print novel.
